I will be posting a series of three articles on the three phases of a Transition, one for each phase. Here is the first one.

The world is in a transition and I feel that Climate Change is an initiation for humanity. No matter what, if we do not accomplish the ending, there is no transition or the initiation is failed. So let's have a look at what is ending or has to end because it is no longer working. This brings up so may questions - where do I start?

It is not that I have all the answers. I have some ideas and it is not up to me to tell people what to do. AND I do want to invite them to contemplate things in order to come to their own answers and thoughts for possible solutions.

OK, let's start with government. Are our governments working?
Are they working for all the people or just some?
If not, what is not working?
What do we need to let go of? Any beliefs, assumptions? Would we need to change rules?

Financial systems: Are they working?
Are they working for everyone?
What might need to change?

Health: There are many different models for health care in the world. Which ones are working? Which ones are not?
What would need to change for them to work for all people, not just select groups?

Are there any questions asked how food and health influence each other?

How does our food production influence our health?

Relationship: With almost half of the marriages ending in divorce, is the ideal of a marriage working?
What might be the reasons for the high percentage of divorce?

Communication: Are we truly able to talk with each other?
Is there a need to be right?
What impact do smart phones  and polarity have on communication?

Earth: Do most people take care of the earth?
Is consuming necessary?
How many of the green technologies do truly have a lesser or not much of an ecological footprint?
When we talk about greenhouse gases, emissions, are we talking just about the gases or do we include the particles?

Life: What would happen if we could make peace with the fact that at some point our bodies die?

How would that impact our lives?

Would we live more intensely; be more present in our life?

How would that impact our need for control?

Would we ask questions that we currently are not asking because our focus is on extending our lives as long as possible and at all costs?

We can not go through a transition if we are not willing to let go, to end what is not working. How much seemed to work while not really working for most people? It was tolerable, not too painful.
