In these times of Covid-19, I noticea lot of polarity, especially on social media. One group of people beliefs what is being said about the corona virus and the other group does not. On social media, this results in a lot of judgment between the members of these groups. And these judgments can be harsh and intense. Polarity to the fore!

Is this polarity new? No, not at all, and right now, it is played out more and stronger. We are entrained to judge. The judgment leads to polarity and it does not even matter what the judgment is all about. Nowadays, fear is so often the basis for the judgments.

Is there a way to get out of this alinging or resisting the opinions of others?  One way would be to not feel the need for either. What if I educate myself about what is being put out? What if I can allow for the possibility that both sides have points worth listening too.

Whaaat! Listening to the other side when I know I am right! Yes, listening to the other side. The reality is, that there is no absolute right or wrong, only a personal point of view of what is right or wrong for each one. It is interesting to me how many people are not even interested in hearing what the other side has to say.

And, I have to admit, I am not really intersted to hear arguments that validate fear. I found that they are variations on the theme of having to be afraid, yet nothing else. As a result, I am interested in what is said about not being afraid. Fear is not part of my universe. By reading posts of others on social media or following links, I have learned so much new information, things I did not know anything about, things that fascinate me. And, I use my awareness to navigate through that territory. Not everything is true for me. I may have another perspective. Yet that does not mean what is being said is wrong, it's just their perspective. How much can I be in allowance of all the perspectives, even the ones that are fear based?

Allowance is a major aspect of getting out of polarity. Can we agree to disagree? I appreciated it when someone responded to my offering a different perspective: thanks but no. That was honoring both of us instead of going into judgment and creating polarity. I wonder, if by and large, people are interested to stop judging, to get out of polarity? Yes, as I said, we are entrained to judgment, and it is a choice to continue with it or not. Judgment is destructive and so I have chosen to stop judging. I am not perfect and do not judge at all anymore. Yet when I notice that I am judging, I stop it.
