An update to my learning around the body:
The other day, after an early morning shoot with friends, we went to have breakfast. A friend and I ordered the same dish, which I had had before. When the plates came, her portion was larger than mine. After noticing that, I remembered thinking that I would probably have to leave some of the potatoes because they used to be too much. Looking at my plate, I noticed that the one thing I had way less were the potatoes. The portion was perfect. I had plenty of the veggies I liked and enough potatoes to satisfy my hunger.
In Access classes, I had hear that bodies communicate with each other. So did my body tell the cook’s body to hold the potatoes? Why else would I have gotten exactly what my body wanted? I am excited about this experience and plan on plying even more with the idea of communicating with my body.
